Privacy Notice

This notice describes how the controller processes personal data of users and visitors of doctorlaska.com in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data ("GDPR") and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data.

The controller has not appointed a data protection officer, as this obligation does not apply to it.

2. Scope of processed data

In connection with subscribing to news and articles from the Dr. Lāska blog and operating the doctorlaska.com website, the following categories of personal data may be processed:

• Contact data: e-mail address provided when subscribing to the newsletter.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and website visit data (only if cookie consent is given).

3. Purposes and legal basis of processing

Your e-mail address will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter and new articles from the Dr. Lāska blog. It will not be used for any other purpose.

4. Retention period

• E-mail address provided for newsletter subscription: for the duration of the subscription, but no longer than until consent is withdrawn or the subscription is cancelled.
• Accounting and tax records: 10 years pursuant to Act No. 235/2004 Coll. and Act No. 563/1991 Coll.
• Cookies: according to settings in the cookie banner, for a maximum of 12 months.

5. Recipients of personal data

Personal data are not transferred to third parties, except for entities whose involvement is required by law or necessary for the operation of the service (e.g. accountant, web hosting provider, newsletter e-mail distribution provider). The controller has concluded a data processing agreement with all processors. Data are not transferred to third countries outside the EU/EEA.

6. Data subject rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have in particular the following rights:

• right of access to personal data (Art. 15 GDPR),
• right to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
• right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") (Art. 17 GDPR),
• right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
• right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR),
• right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time by sending a request to gdpr@laska.ai or by clicking the unsubscribe link in the e-mail,
• right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.

You may exercise your rights in writing at the e-mail address gdpr@laska.ai. The request will be handled without undue delay, within 30 days at the latest.

7. Cookies

The website uses necessary cookies to ensure basic functionality and, with your consent, also analytical or marketing cookies. You can change your cookie settings at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer.

8. Data security

The controller has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction or misuse. Data in electronic form is stored in secure systems.

9. Final provisions

Providing your e-mail address is voluntary. However, without it, we cannot subscribe you to the Dr. Lāska newsletter and new articles. The processing of personal data does not involve automated decision-making or profiling.
